Hedonistic self-indulgence

I have sixteen books either published or contracted to be so but the feeling of complete satisfaction each time one sees the light of day never dulls. I did this all on my own; these characters only exist because I dreamed them up, I can make the most unlikely people fall in love, kill off anyone who annoys me, etc ... Such power!

It's good to know that there's one thing in my life that I can do reasonably proficiently. Hold that thought, girl!

My second regency romance with Carina Press, A Scandalous Proposition, hits the digital bookshelves today and so I'm indulging in a little metaphorical back patting. No excerpts, no buy links just the gorgeous cover and the blurb about me from the Carina Website.

About the Author
An overactive imagination led to frequent accusations of inattention during Wendy's school days on the Isle of Wight in Southern England. Living in a placed steeped in so much fascinating history, with castles everywhere and Queen Victoria's island retreat on her doorstep, the distractions were compelling. She's recently channeled that bothersome imaginative gene into writing and has several novels published both in the States and the U.K., all set in the colorful English Regency period.

Wendy is passionate about all animals, especially waifs and strays. She lives in Andorra with her husband and a rescued dog of indeterminate pedigree but spends a lot of her time exploring the world by boat.

If you get to read A Scandalous Proposition I hope you enjoy it.
